• Load the current Visioneer 7100 scanner driver on an XP machine. O yes the driver from Visioneer contains a virus, so beware. I use Avast and had to disable it to get it to download on the XP machine. Slave the XP hard drive to your Vista machine with the scanner attached. In device manager tell it to browse the computer for the driver.
• The bank does supply the drivers for connecting the scanner to their online services, but since the Windows 10 Anniversary update the bank has had problems with these scanners across the board. I don't know if buying a new scanner is what the company really wants to do but I will definitely put that idea forward.
